Hostal Sierpes is located on a quiet street in the Santa Cruz quarter, close to the Cathedral as well as the Alfalfa district. The former 18th century casa-palacio was completely renovated for use as a hostal while preserving many of the original details of the historic house. Two sides of the building face narrow cobblestone streets in the Barrio Santa Cruz. A total of 38 guest rooms are distributed over three floors and around two unique Andalusian patios.

The house remains in the same family since the original construction. Renovations respected the historic palatial home, preserving the original wood ceilings and ceramic tiles which can be found throughout the first two floors of house. The reception area features a large patio with sitting area. The first floor patio is covered by a glass roof and adorned with plants and antique furniture, as well as a ceramic tile table and chairs.

Why we selected this hotel... Top |

Hostal Sierpes offers an excellent location and typical Andalusian charm for those on a budget. We like both of the traditional, yet distinct central patios, offering guests plenty of possibilities to sit and relax outside of the rooms. Perhaps our favorite amenities are services you don't often find in budget establishments in Seville: the hostal's own restaurant and tapas bar, daily breakfast service in the large breakfast room and private parking. The bar is cozy and quaint, and the ambience in the small dining room just adjacent is pure Feria de Abril. The location amongst the cobblestone streets of the Barrio Santa Cruz, and adjacent to the Alfalfa, provides guests with easy access to the major monuments as well as wide variety of tapas bars and options for nightlife.
