PENSIÓN SAN PANCRACIO

SURROUNDINGS OF THE PENSIÓN SAN PANCRACIO

Pensión San Pancracio is in the heart of the Santa Cruz quarter, close to the Cathedral and Alcazar. Just a few meters from the hotel we find three crosses in a small pedestrian plaza.

From the plaza we follow Calle Cruces, a typical, narrow street in the barrio Santa Cruz.

Around the corner, only a 1 minute walk from the pensión, we find the patio of Casa de la Memoria, a popular venue to see a traditional flamenco show.

On the corner of Calle Doncellas is the bakery, Las Doncellas, famous in Seville for it's many varieties of freshly baked bread.

As we look to the left from the corner of Calle Doncellas we see the Iglesia Santa Maria la Blanca. At one time this was a synagogue in the old Jewish Quarter.

Just a few doors down from Las Doncellas bakery is a small grocer, selling food and drinks.

Less than one minute's walk from the hotel leads us to El Modesto, a good restaurant which always has plenty of outdoor seating.

The Jardines Murillo (Murillo Gardens) are just next to the hotel, with plenty of open space. A short walk through the gardens and past the University of Seville is the Maria Luisa Park and the Plaza de España.

The gardens of the Real Alcazar. While the entrance is located 5 minutes away, the gardens are located just next to the pensión.
