Hotel Montecarlo is located in a renovated
18th century gentry house of Sevillian style. Recently renovated, there
are now 27 new rooms which are indicative of three and four star hotels.
The hotel offers two central Andalusian patios plus an excellent full
service restaurant. The hotel is situated close to the river, Fine Arts
Museum and central shopping district, while just a short walk to the major
monuments of Sevilla.  The hotel offers two wings, one recently added with a large central patio, open spaces and modern rooms. The older wing houses the restaurant and has also been recently renovated. It is more indicative of the 18th century house, with original hand-painted tiles and other well-preserved architectural details.  |
All of the rooms have been recently renovated and offer many modern amenities such as climate control, complete bath, and satellite TV with remote control. Many rooms have windows onto the small street below or look onto an interior patio. Rooms are well decorated with special attention to smaller details.

We really believe this is a 2 star hotel which has the qualities of some of Seville's 3 and 4 star hotels. The restaurant is an excellent choice for dining, exceeding the typical hotel restaurant menu with more dishes and options for the guest to choose from. We have enjoyed the dining room setting, with the skylight and moorish arches. The location is also ideal for those interested in the arts and a stroll along the river. |
