Hotel "Un Patio de Santa Cruz" is located in a recently renovated
18th century Sevillian house, situated in the Santa Cruz quarter of Seville
just 5 minutes from the Cathedral. The hotel, opened in October 2005, surpasses
the two star standard. The former residence was renovated to include 13
rooms, respecting the historical structure while incorporating modern decoration
and comforts. All rooms have windows onto the small central patio or balconies
to the pedestrian street below. Two rooms on the third floor have direct
access to the terrace with view of the Giralda. The Hotel's location on a small pedestrian street is a perfect base for exploring the city on foot. The renovation of the hotel preserved the original architecture of the house, such as the central patio, balconies to the street and typical roof terrace. Inside the reception and stairways we find unique and charming decoration, including paintings which were carefully selected by the owner. White marble is used for the floors in the central patio and common areas, while hardwood floors were chosen for the rooms.  |
Each room is decorated with elegant, modern furniture and hardwood floors, as well as select paintings and prints. The decoration and modern style provide a light and airy feel to the rooms. While there is little concern for noise on the pedestrian street, the renovation included the installation of double-paned windows, ensuring a quiet and peaceful stay. Each room contains a modern, fully equipped bathroom.

with small sitting area and reception desk. The hotel's roof terrace
includes tables, chairs and plants so guests can relax and enjoy the

Hotel "Un Patio de Santa Cruz" is a good example of why, at times, the typical star categories do not reflect the quality of accommodation: the hotel exceeds expectations of a 2 star hotel with beautiful rooms, excellent service, and a wonderful location in the heart of the Santa Cruz quarter. The size of the hotel - less than 15 rooms - offers guests personalized attention and a more private stay, typical of the boutique style establishments in the city. The hotel is convenient to all of the major monuments and sights through the pedestrian streets of Santa Cruz. Restaurants, tapas bars and nightlife are close by as well. The location is also perfect for a visit to one of Seville's finest bakeries, "Las Doncellas", located just a few meters away and offering many varieties of the best freshly baked bread you will find in the city. Finally, a hotel in Santa Cruz would not be complete without a roof terrace with a view of the Giralda. |
