The Hotel Hostería del Laurel is located in an historic building
in the heart of Santa Cruz, looking onto the Plaza de los Venerables. The
hotel offers 21 rooms, a bar and restaurant on the ground floor, as well
as outdoor dining available in the plaza. The location of Hostería
del Laurel, tucked away in the pedestrian streets of barrio Santa Cruz,
is ideal for visitors.
The hotel includes a typical Sevillian restaurant and bar on the ground floor, which is a popular dining and tapas spot for those visiting Barrio Santa Cruz. The author José Zorilla stayed in the Hostería del Laurel when he wrote his most famous work Don Juan Tenorio. It is said he received much of his inspiration for his characters and settings from his surroundings.  |
 All of the rooms have a full private bath, satelite television and climate control. All rooms except the quadruple room, which has a view of the plaza, look onto interior patios in the hotel.

The hotel is located in the center of Barrio Santa Cruz amidst narrow pedestrian streets and several small plazas. It is situated across the Plaza from the Hospital de los Venerables and very close to the Cathedral and Alcazar. The Jardines Murillo and Paruqe Maria Luisa offer gardens and outdoor places to relax close to the Hotel. Dining and nightlife options are abundant in several plazas close to the Hotel. This is a 2 star hotel with atmosphere and history which fit the surroundings, having been the inspiration for Spanish writer Zorilla's work Don Juan Tenorio. For a tourist visit the location couldn't be better: in the middle of the narrow streets and charming houses of Santa Cruz and the Juderia. This section of Sevilla is also exclusively pedestrian. Several restaurants and bars with outdoor dining are right in front of the hotel, or in plazas just a few meters away. The Hostería del Laurel offers a very good value for perhaps the most privledged and romantic location in Seville. |
