Hostal Río Grande is located in the Arenal neighborhood on García
de Vinuesa street, just one block from the Cathedral. The family run hostal
is very central, convenient to the major monuments and cultural sights as
well as the Guadalquivir River and central shopping district. The hostal
is housed in an historic 18th century Sevillian house. The Hostal Río
Grande has just 7 guest rooms, most with exterior windows, and all with
private bath and air conditioning.
The hostal spans three floors of the 18th century building. The original ceramic tiles in the stairways as well as the high ceilings have been preserved during renovations. Guests enter the main stairs to the first floor reception. Two rooms are on this first floor, while the remaining five rooms are on the two upper floors.

Excellent location is one of the reasons to select the hostal: we can walk to just about any monument in a few minutes. For budget accommodation the hostal offers all of the basics: private bathroom, climate control and television. Three of our favorite places to eat are all within less than one minute from the hostal. Guests should not miss a visit to Casa Morales for tapas and montadtios, one of Seville's most historic taverns. Freiduria La Isla, just on the corner, serves up fresh fried seafood for takeout or dining in. And Horno San Buenaventura is the perfect place for breakfast or an afternoon coffee in the upstairs salon overlooking the Cathedral. Finally, the family who runs the hostal has many years of experience hosting travelers, and provides some of the most courteous and welcoming service we have experienced. |
