| The Pension Perez Montilla is located in the Juderia neighborhood of Seville, about five minutes from the Cathedral and Reales Alcázares. The 20 room, family run inn offers budget accommodation in an excellent location, with the narrow pedestrian streets of the neighborhood located just behind the pensión. The majority of the guest rooms have a private bath and television. There is also free WiFi internet access.
 The Pensión Perez Montilla offers the privilege of location at economical rates. This area of the city is a popular spot for small, budget accommodations mixed in with many four star and boutique hotels. The nearby numerous restaurants and typical sidewalk cafes attract crowds at nights.

Options for rooms include private or shared bath for single and double rooms. All triple rooms have a private bath, while the Quadruple room has a private, exterior bathroom (the bathroom is situated outside of the bedroom, but for exclusive use of the room).  Guests enter the hostal from Plaza de los Curtidores. A stairway leads to the first floor reception area and several guest rooms. The remaining rooms are located on the second and third floors. The Pension Perez Montilla is situated in the old Jewish quarter, just a few minutes walk to the Cathedral and Alcazar. This section of the city is mainly comprised of small pedestrian streets, and is an excellent location to explore the city on foot. The location is also easy to find: access to the inner city ring road is just two blocks away, where there are several stops for city bus routes. The pension is convenient to parks and gardens, such as Parque Maria Luisa and the Jardines Murillo, as well as the University of Seville. There are many options for tapas, dining and nightlife within just a few minutes of the pension. A local family recently purchased the Pension, making several improvements, including a thorough cleaning service. The family members are on site every day, welcoming guests in reception and offering advice to those visiting the city. We also like the quadruple room with exterior bath, which is very spacious. Free WiFi internet access is of course to our preference, and the added amenities of television, air conditioning and heating are not often found in every pension. Finally, we prefer this location for several reasons. For sightseeing, this is Seville's most popular neighborhood with the Cathedral, Alcazar and juderia as the main attractions. For access to public transport, the pension is not only convenient to the train station, but offers easy access to many bus routes, the Prado bus station, the tram and the new metro line. We can also recommend Casa Diego, a small restaurant in the same plaza, for it's economical menu del dia. |
