The Pension La Montoreña is famous for offering clean, budget accommodation with an excellent location in Santa Cruz. Family owned and operated for almost 20 years, the accommodation has appeared in many international travel guides as a top choice for economical lodging in Seville. We especially like the location, sharing the narrow walkways and typical Sevillian buildings which make up the Hotel Casas de la Juderia. Around each corner we find two churches which were once synagogues - Iglesia Santa Maria la Blanca and Iglesia San Bartolome - structures which are emblematic of the old Jewish quarter in Seville. The pension has recently added several newly renovated rooms, plus a roof terrace with chairs and tables. As well the pension now offers free WiFi internet access. The large triple room with a small private terrace in the adjacent building is an excellent value. The family also owns a local travel agency a few blocks away, and are always available to help with train tickets or other travel services. |
