Hostal Atenas is located on a quiet street in the city center, just behind the Casa de Pilatos. The Hostal is just a few blocks from the Alfalfa area as well as several plazas and churches in the Santa Catalina neighborhood. The hostal is in a Sevillian style house with a central patio and a roof-top terrace. Guests enter through a private walkway filled with plants and ceramic tiles to the main lobby.

The hostal is quiet due to it's unique interior layout, yet offers plenty of natural light from the two patios and terrace.

The hostal is a good value for guests looking for some of the conveniences and services of a hotel, such as telephone, private bath and climate control, all at the price of a hostal. The rooms are well decorated and some are recently renovated. The location is excellent as well, just a few blocks from Plaza Alfalfa, the Casa de Pilatos and Barrio Santa Cruz. Good dining and nightlife options abound in the Alfalfa and Puerta Carmona which are very close to the Hostal. We like the long, private entrance filled with plants and ceramic tiles, plus the secluded nature of the rooms which ensures a quiet and restful stay.

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is made less than five (5) days before arrival date, then the price of one night will be charged to your credit card. During high season (April, May, September, October): if cancellation or modification is made more than 15 days before arrival date then the total amount of one night will be charged to your credit card. If cancellation or modification is made less than 15 days before arrival date then 50% of the reservation cost will be charged to your credit card. Your card serves as a guarantee for the reservation and payment in full is due at the hostal.

Minimum stay required: 4 nights
Deposit required: 50% of the total reservation cost at the time of confirmation.
Cancellation Policy: During Semana Santa and Feria de Abril: if cancellation or modification is made more than 15 days before arrival date then the total amount of one night will not be refunded. If cancellation or modification is made less than 15 days before arrival date then the 50% reservation deposit will not be refunded.
