| The Hotel Plaza Nueva is just off the Plaza Nueva,
one of our favorite locations for visiting the city of Granada.
On the edge of the Albaicín and within 2 minutes of the
Cathedral, the location is near the river Dauro, and guests
can catch the bus to the Alhambra, Sacromonte or the Mirador
de San Nicolas just in front of the hotel. Leisure activities
options such as the Arab baths, shopping and dining are all
within a minute or two of the hotel. |

The Hotel Plaza Nueva features 25 large guest
rooms, many of which offer excellent views of the Alhambra and
surrounding city. The hotel's attention to guest rooms is commendable,
with several touches that make each room unique. Each room bears
a different name based on important historic events in the city,
and handmade furniture such as the beds and wardrobes, were
supplied to the hotel by a special foundation which employs
people with Down syndrome.
All rooms include individual climate control, complete bath,
satellite television and mini bar. The hotel offers room service,
daily breakfast and 24 hour reception. The hotel reception staff
are well known for being helpful, whether accommodating special
needs for guests or giving advice about the sights and nearby
restaurants. |
