Public institution founded in Spain dedicated to the promotion of Spanish language
instruction and diffusion of Spanish culture. The Instituto Cervantes, the Spanish
equivalent to the Goethe Institute or British Council, awards accreditations
to the best Spanish language schools in Spain. DELE
The Instituto Cervantes also coordinates the exam to receive the official Spanish
as a Foreign Language Diploma, or DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera).
The Plaza Nueva school provides preparation courses for the three levels of
the DELE exam:1. Nivel Inicial
2. Nivel Intermedio
3. Nivel Superior
The DELE certificates are the official accreditation of the degree of fluency of the Spanish Language, issued and recognised by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain. The Instituto Cervantes is the institution in charge of organising the exams, while the University of Salamanca is in charge of the preparation, correction and final evaluation of all the tests.

representing and accrediting Spanish schools, ensuring the quality of Spanish
Instruction, student cultural activities, and accommodation. Spanish Federation
of Associations of Spanish Schools for foreigners is the national organization
