The Torneo apartment is located on the Avenida Torneo, which runs along the Guadalquivir river. In the middle ages there was a defensive wall running on this side of the river, protecting the historical center to the west.

Observations

This is a large, airy flat on the second floor of a recently constructed apartment building, located on the edge of the historic center, overlooking the Guadalquivir river. The location is the first row of buildings facing the river waterfront. Many people come to this section of the river to cycle, run, or enjoy a leisurely walk along the river. Just across the river is the Isla Mágica theme park, the Cartuja monastery, and some of the remaining pavilions from the 1992 World Expo. A childrens playground is also close to the apartment.

The interior and furniture of the apartment are brand new, dating from year 2008.

EAT AND DRINK:
Bar Alcoy 10 is located about 3 minutes walking from the apartment. The bar’s address is the same as the name (Calle Alcoy 10). There is also a large choice of fashionable bars and restaurants at the end of calle Santa Ana in the Alameda de Hercules.

SHOPPING:
The Plaza de Armas shopping center is only 5 minutes from the apartment. The building was the former Cordoba Train Station, which has been completely and beautifully renovated to include shops, bars, restaurants, a cinema and a large supermarket. Just across from the shopping center is another cinema which shows movies in their original language (with Spanish subtitles).

PARKING:
In front of the building is a large avenue where you can generally find a parking space on the street. The closest underground car park, is located below Plaza de Armas, about 5 minutes walking to the apartment.
