The apartment Palacios Malaver is located in the Macarena quarter of Seville. At the end of the street you find the Ominum Sanctorum church and the calle Feria food market, which you can see on the right end of the photo. The street itself is quiet, as traffic generally passes through Feria street on the back side of the building.



The courtyard features the original white marble pillars which were conserved during the renovations of the building.



In the photo of the living room you can see the wood beam ceilings and parquet floors.



The kitchenette is open onto the living room, and is well equipped with oven and washing machine. The window faces the central patio.



The main bedroom with double bed features spacious wardrobe.



The second bedroom with twin beds is smaller and ideal for 2 children.



Clothes can be dried on the roof terrace of the house.

Observations

Among all city quarters of Seville, La Macarena is perhaps the most original, with the lowest presence of tourists. In the surrounding streets and the food market you will find mostly locals who have lived most of their lives in this quarter, and will hardly ever hear anybody speaking English.

The commercial center with the famous Sierpes street is conveniently located about 10 minutes from the apartment. In general, you do not need to use public transport to explore the old town of Seville.

Please note the second bedroom with two twin beds is very small. We recommend this apartment for families with 2 children, or for 3 adults. (Some may find the apartment small for 4 adults.)

SHOPPING:
For food and daily needs you can find everything in the calle Feria market at the end of the street, open from Monday-Saturday 09:00-14:00h. On Calle Feria there are plenty of small shops and a supermarket.

EAT AND DRINK:
About 5 minutes walking distance towards the river you will find the Alameda de Hercules, a very large open plaza with restaurants, tapas bars, ice cream parlours, etc.

PARKING:
The closest car park is next to the Andalusian Parliament building, approximately 10 minutes walking distance from the apartment. You can also park on the surrounding streets, but it is generally difficult to find a free place.
