An emblematic district

The Galera apartments is a set of four apartments located in El Arenal, one of the most traditional and characteristic neighborhoods of Seville. In the 16th and 17th century it was one of the most important port areas of the world and nowadays it is still a distric of great activity for the city, especially in terms of bullfighting, theater, opera and brotherhood.

Monuments at walking distance

The location happens to be perfect in order to visit the city, since the most important monuments and buildings of the city are at a short walking distance. The building is located just in front of the bullring and it is around 5 minutes walking distance to the Cathedral and Giralda, to the Torre del Oro and the Townhall. El Arenal is famous for its uncountable tapas bars and restaurants which make the neighborhood a meeting point for Sevillians.

Refurbished building

We offer four 1-bedroom apartments in a recently refurbished Sevillian house with elevator. Moreover, Galera I and II provide a sofa-bed for two additional people, accommodating 4 guests per apartment. The four apartments have their living rooms facing the bullring and the large windows (especially in Galera I and II) offer plenty of light during daytime. The apartments answer to a modern, nice and functional standard.

Every apartment faces the bullring (as shown on the picture). Each apartment comes with one bedroom, living room (including dining area), kitchen (separate from the living area) and one fully equipped bathroom. The kitchen is completely equippped for self-catering.

Observations

INTERNET:
There is wireless internet in all apartments. You receive the access code on your arrival.

SHOPPING:
The main shopping center of the city, El Corte Inglés, is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment as well as the the main shopping area: Sierpes, Tetuan and Velazquez are the most famous shopping streets of Seville. In the adjacent street, Arfe, you can find several small grocery shops.

EAT AND DRINK:
El Arenal is the centre of Seville's tapas and restaurant scene. The Calle Antonia Diaz itself has a number of famous establishments: Horacio (Michelin rated restaurant), Bodeguita Antonio Romero (favourite of the matadors!), El Buzo (great tapas) and the Meson Serranito (cheap and cheerful tapas and Andalusian flair). You can extend your 'tapeo' in the surrounding streets with some of Seville's most highly rated restaurants and bars: Taberna del Alabardero (in nearby Calle Zaragoza), Rincon del Pulpo Gallego (a Galician seafood favourite), Enrique Beccerra (smart and authentic), and Meson La Infanta (the oldest bar in Calle Dos de Mayo). PARKING:
Parking nearby is possible at the reasonably priced municipal car park under the bull ring on Paseo de Colon, a large avenue which runs along the river.
