ARFE
SOME SHOPS, BARS AND RESTAURANTS IN ARFE STREET
Panaderia (bakery) and
carnicería (butchers) in the basement of the apartment building.
Bar-restaurant "La Bellota" in the next building to the left. Recommended for its tapas and lunch menu.
Further to the left: a
frutería, where you can buy fruits, vegetables and other groceries.
Further up the street: restaurant "La Isla", one of the best restaurants in Seville.
At the end of Arfe street, just at the edge with El Postigo, which is a former gate of the old city walls:
This particular
churreria is famous for providing churros for the King when he stays at the Alcazar.
Now we continue on Arfe street in the other direction: Just opposite the apartments is a small bar for a quick drink in-between the meals...
A supermarket in the house just next-door to Arfe apartments.
Further down the street: an
ultramarinos specialty food shop with its antique facade.
Reaching the end of Arfe street towards the bullring: a
pescadería where you can buy fresh fish, a
freiduría where you can buy the same fish, but fried,
and still another bar with tables outside where you can eat the fried fish from the shop.
In many bars you are allowed to bring take-away food with you and only order the drinks at the bar.
View towards the end of Arfe street and beginning of Adriano street. On the left, behind the trees, is the bullring.
Same location looking to the right: a
farmacia in García Vinuesa street.
At the end of this street you will find the Cathedral.
After a 2 min walk down Garcia Vinuesa street you will reach the
Catedral,
the
Archivo de Indias, which is on the left of the photo,
and the
Real Alcazar, which is on the right edge of the photo.
